From wiki:-
Friends Again were a Scottish 1980s New Wave/pop group, formed in 1982.
They were formed by members Chris Thomson and James Grant, together with Neil Cunningham, Paul McGeechan, and Stuart Kerr. The group was famous for their singles "State of Art", "Sunkissed" and "Honey at the Core".
They released a self-titled EP in 1984, which peaked at No. 59 on the UK Singles Chart. They then recorded their debut album, Trapped & Unwrapped (1984). The album's sound ranged from 1970s styled funk to New Wave to soulful ballads.
After the demise of the band, Grant went on to form Love and Money in 1985 along with McGeechan and Kerr, while Thomson formed The Bathers.
One of my all time favourite groups. Saw them loads of times live. They really should have been massive.
Tempting as it was to feature the 1983 single Sunkissed which was in the Top 10 of the 45 45s at 45 feature back in 2008, here instead is the debut released on their own Moonboot Records. Recorded in December 1982 at the Palladium Studios in Edinburgh, inferior versions of these songs would be re-recorded for the debut LP.
mp3 : Friends Again - Honey At The Core
mp3 : Friends Again - Lucky Star
An ever more disappointing version was released as the band's final single:-
mp3 : Friends Again - Honey At The Core (remix)
mp3 : Friends Again - Snow White
A band ruined by a record label's idea of how they should sound.

Hello there
I'm a long time reader but not sure I've commented before.
You've posted lots of stuff over the years which I've loved. Been meaning to drop you a note about something and maybe you can find more info. I have a bunch of mp3 demo and live tracks of Friends Again I'd love to find some info on and maybe your readers can shed some light... I can try to upload them somewhere or send you a disc with them on? What would work best?
Cheers Fent.
This sounds very exciting.....
If you could drop me an e-mail to thevinylvillain@hotmail.co.uk and we can take it from there.
