The irony was the band had been dropped by RCA Records in January 1993 after the personnel who had brought them to the major label had lost their jobs.

It's a shame cos it doesn't capture just how good a live band they were in their day. One who made all of their audience go bonkers......

great live band indeed. actually, that's damning them with feint praise. once they stopped the grebbo nonsense, they were a very fine band indeed.

Clint Poppie (real name Clint Mansell) is now a film soundtrack composer. Biggest film he did the soundtrack for so far is Black Swan. Quite a leap from the Poppies!
