Thanks for all the nice messages to welcome me back.
Drew, whose postings at From Across The Kitchen Table these past few months have been quite wonderful, did say some really nice things but added the suggestion of no more feckin Morrissey at TVV.
That's like visiting the Louvre and hoping they've removed the Mona Lisa from public display.
mp3 : Morrissey - To Me You Are A Work Of Art
I've got my tickets to go see him in yet another small venue in a Scottish town that's usually off the beaten track. Dunfermline on Monday 20 June. I don't suppose you'd like to come along Drew? :-)

Hi, I still like Morrissey even if I really prefere The Smiths. They were much more elegant and creative.
The problem with Morrissey is the band. Terrible musicians really.
But Viva Hate was a great classic record.

And he's headlining the last night of the Hop Farm Festival in Kent this Summer, should you find yourself in that neck of the woods...
The Mona Lisa did nothing for me either, JC.
and no, thank you for your kind(?) offer but alas I will be cutting my toenails that night.
Finally!
I'll be seeing him in Bradford next month too - which is where I first saw him live, many years ago.
Don't suppose you caught the Dermot O'Leary interview on Radio 2last Saturday, JC? Moz was on top spikey form. Worth listening to if you get the chance - it's on Listen Again until the end of the week.
Just remember we know what's behind your Morrisey shrine....
