My dear friend Simon over at The Songs That People Sing has put out a request for a bit of long-lost and I guess largely forgotten bit of music."Does anybody have Tower Block Rock by Twenty Flight Rockers including the amazing live b-side Young Man? I would love a decent rip onto MP3 of them if you do. Best live band I ever saw, abolutely perfect rocknroll.
Email is tivoli1969@aol.com"
I wasn't able to help, but hopefully some TVV reader can.....
Thanks.

Thank you kindly mate. Twenty Flight Rockers were a mid 80s punky rocknroll outfit, featuring as I recall a member of Generation X. They sounded a bit Billy Idol meets The Clash, dressed in leather jackets and the bass player did the Paul Simonon thing. Best live band I ever saw.

The single I'm looking for is on YouTube, doesn't quite do em proper justice...they were so good live
You likely saw this, might be a lead in the proper direction:

Thanks for that, but it's the files from the blog listed above.
The tracks on the blog are a live gig or am I looking at the wrong thing?
Can't see the link to the singles I posted on the blog anyway.
Could always buy a copy? 7 for sale here:
