WHY DID I START THIS THING? (Part 2)

This posting has to read in conjunction with yesterday's inane ramblings.

Thanks for today's unearthed bits of treasure go to Drew, Marcy, Davy H, Dirk, Ed and Ctel.

The last two days have been but a small sample of folk I want to thank. There's many many more of you out there. So I promise that I'll return to this subject again in the future.

Ah The Lotus Eaters!! Love these guys way back when and even in their solo efforts...I think there may be new material down the road as well...One thing I always loved about them is that most people got them completely wrong...they were not New Romantic, they were not Post Punk...they were something close to what New Wave was meant to be...pop from a different perspective, with a different set of influences than we hear before... Now there's a topic for a blog post...what was New Wave!

The Lotus Eaters 'You Don't Need Someone New' is a brillant track I feel in love with some years ago. Not quite as good as 'first picture of you' but very close.

Betty Boo. Where Are You Baby is simply one of the best pop tunes ever. This one's pretty clever too. Cheers!
