And as much as I admire the overblown pomposity of the original that somehow is just brilliant enough to be beyond parody, I so adore how Kurt Wagner et al stripped it back to reveal just what a work of beauty it can be.

Apropos of nothing (apart from the Dial 911, 999 or whatever theme) thought you might like to know that Glasvegas latest single got a right slating by the audience on tonight's Chris Evans show on BBC Radio 2
Since you've posted the Sisters of Mercy I'm going to stop by and mention that one of the other jobs Chris Catalyst, frontman of Eureka Machines that I was writing about, has is being in their current line up.
Oh and as far as I'm concerned Lambchop can do no wrong.
