I hope you know that such a send off has only made me into a stalker. Now I really want to know this Colin person and why he's so incredibly deserving of a good a friend as this! xoxo

Dearest J.C.,

I just wanted to say that I hope Colin will make all of this available for download one of these days before I read your comment above: of course I would more than pleased to receive one of those CD's if you ever find the time!

If I hadn't been on holiday myself, I would have contributed - amongst others - The UK Subs' 'Party In Paris', Tarwater's 'All The Ants Left Paris', Northern Picture Library's 'Paris', Paris Connection's 'Who's That Lady' and of course also The Paris Angels' 'All On You (Perfume)' ...

Cheers,

Dirk

Dirk...it will take a handful of CDs to gather all of the songs together....but for my amigo, it is not a problem. Send over your address via the e-mail and I'll get onto it in due time.

Ms T - Feel free to stalk....

Without Colin there would be no blog called 'The Vinyl Villain'. He was the inspiration for what I do, and he was hugely encouraging when I started out. We were blogging mates for ages before finally meeting up at the beginning of 2008 - he's now a regular boozing/coffee shop buddy.

If you go back enough into some old postings, most of the story is there in some shape or form.

oh you boys have no idea what the Tart's been up to, have you? ;)

JC said...

In fact I havent.

For some bizarre reason...and this has happened at least 6 times in the past 24 hours....everytime I click on your link, I lose my connection altogether.

Have you cast some sort of evil spell????

nope, tis only you i think, alas, JC, people from your blog are getting here, ty ty! my Mummy 3 review must be adverse to your good musical taste, it's the only explanation I have :p (or, you and I did a sort of mind meld on the topic of song lyric meanings and are forever locked in a time/space continuum never to read each other's blogs again....oh wait, i'm reading yours now, doh!) xoxox
