The big big football match this afternoon didn't go as hoped.Raith Rovers lost 3-1 to Stirling Albion in the play-off match. The season is thus, officially over.
It was a better season than initially expected, but today turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax. In truth however, it was a fair result.

Sorry you've had such a crap week. Looked nightmarish from what was in the papers.
You've picked a maudlin song right enough. This one has been in my will for many years to be played at my funeral.
The worst part was the football. But there's next season to be hopeful about.
The work thing was just very tiring as it went OK from an administrative/management perspective in Glasgow. There was one nasty moment when a candidate and supporters got upset about a couple of rulings I made on spoiled papers and started shouting and swearing at me.
But then again, I've a number of colleagues/friends elsewhere in Scotland who didn't fare so well and I'm sorry for what they went through.
However, in the grand scheme of things, if work issues and play issues are all that I've got on my mind just now, then I'm a lucky boy.
